What an intense and truly unforgettable year it has been for REMOTE Latin America! From new destinations to genuine bonds, 2025 stood out for our shared capacity for innovation and diversification — all while staying deeply true to our essence.
This was a different kind of year for us. For the first time, we dared to host two editions of REMOTE Immersion within the same year, embracing different regions of Latin America and the Caribbean. We expanded our impact, not our size. By hosting two separate editions, we multiplied opportunities yet maintained the intimate scale that defines REMOTE.
We had the joy and honor of hosting three wonderful gatherings that brought our REMOTER family together in different corners of our region: São Paulo, Brazil in March; Antigua, Guatemala in May; and Chapada dos Veadeiros, Brazil in October. It was a year filled with hard work, yes — but also with meaningful achievements, thriving business, heartfelt smiles, long hugs, and the kind of human connections we cherish most.

Across our events, we shared hundreds of meetings, dozens of immersive experiences in our host destinations, powerful talks, inspiring exchanges, and countless conversations over coffee, drinks, and lots of dancing!
As we close this intense and beautiful cycle, we feel deeply renewed by the energy of our community. That spirit is what inspires us to dream even bigger for what’s ahead. And what comes next is truly special: 2026 marks 10 years of REMOTE Immersion, and we’re already preparing many thoughtful reasons to celebrate this milestone together.
We invite you to look back at some of the memorable moments that shaped our year:
March – REMOTE Goes to Brasil | São Paulo
We kicked off the year in March with our high-energy pocket show, REMOTE Goes to Brasil, in the city of São Paulo. In its 5th edition, the event brought together 35 exhibitors from across Latin America, all eager to connect with Brazil’s fast-growing travel market.

Over the course of one intense day, participants held one-on-one meetings with 40 high-end Brazilian travel designers, building new partnerships and strengthening existing relationships. As always, the day ended the REMOTE way — with a relaxed, celebratory happy hour, where connections turned into conversations and friendships.

May – REMOTE Immersion Antigua | Guatemala
In May, we landed in Antigua, Guatemala’s historic jewel, for the 8th edition of REMOTE Immersion, welcomed by cobblestone streets, dramatic volcano views, vibrant culture, and an inspiring community of hosts and REMOTERS.
We welcomed 210 passionate travel professionals from around the world, including 85 boutique lodgings and DMCs from 15 Latin American countries, and 86 high-end travel designers from Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, all united by a shared commitment to responsible travel.

Together, we celebrated the beauty of real-life encounters, building trust, sparking ideas, and creating meaningful, lasting partnerships. All of this unfolded while honoring the ancient Maya knowledge, unique flavors, and warm hospitality that Guatemala so generously shared with us.
Our days were filled with inspiring exchanges: from learning about archaeology and heritage, to conversations on finding the right travel partners in Latin America, and thought-provoking reflections on the evolving boundaries between humanity and technology in tourism. A true meeting of minds, cultures, and visions for the future.
October – REMOTE Immersion Chapada dos Veadeiros | Brazil
In October, our journey led us to the heart of Brazil’s Cerrado, for a deeply transformative edition of REMOTE Immersion in Chapada dos Veadeiros — a land of crystal-clear waterfalls, spiritual energy, powerful nature, and vibrant communities.
Surrounded by wide skies, breathtaking trails, and extraordinary biodiversity, we gathered our REMOTERS — 77 boutique lodgings and DMCs and 80 travel designers — for days filled with meaningful encounters, immersive experiences, and relevant exchanges. Chapada invited us not only to meet, but to slow down, reconnect, and listen more deeply to the rhythms of nature and territory.

Our talks and conversations reflected powerful themes — Indigenous tourism and heritage, wildfires and preservation, Afrotourism, and sustainable architecture. More than business, Chapada became a space for alignment, inspiration, and shared purpose.
We left Chapada dos Veadeiros with dusty shoes, full hearts, and a renewed sense of responsibility: to protect our biodiversity, to support those who care for the land, and to keep building a tourism industry that is truly connected to people, place, and planet.
Our year simply wouldn’t have been as extraordinary without the involvement of every REMOTER, whose presence, energy, and openness make our events truly unique. We are also deeply grateful to our sponsors and partners, whose trust, support, and collaboration were essential in bringing every moment of this journey to life.
Together, you are the reason these stories exist — and it’s together that we move forward.
