Txai Resort is located on an ancient coconut farm, an estate of 92 hectares (227 acres) situated in the Environmental Protection Area of Itacaré Serra Grande, in the Itacaré municipality. It is located 48 km (29 miles) from Ilhéus, 15 km (9 miles) from Itacaré and 350 km (217 miles) from Salvador.
