Do you remember when our barefoot speaker at REMOTE Costa Rica Hans Pfister suggested our community incorporate at least one change in our daily lives to make the world more sustainable?

Kate Pembroke of Steppes Travel (UK) followed his suggestion and worked on some implements in her household.

Her family now has their milk delivered the old fashioned way, in glass bottles, saving 200 plastic milk cartons every year.

The Pembrokes have also switched power suppliers to a company that provides renewable energy and offsets the carbon in their gas consumption. We are so proud to see our inspiring REMOTE Talks generating positive results.

Remoters are welcome to write to info@remote.la and share more simple changes with us. And please don’t forget to send a picture of the initiative.
